Old Items:

College Interviews: A reminder to seniors: Do not schedule college interviews to take place at Bishop Guertin. School policy is that you must have an adult present in the room during your interview. Counselors leave for the day at 2:30 PM so do not assume they will be here to supervise. We suggest that you meet someplace like McDonald's or Panera to have your interview.

University of New Hampshire Applicants:   Please note the following important changes to this year's application:

- UNH applications no longer need to be notarized.     A New Hampshire residency statement will only need to be notarized if you choose to enroll at UNH.     At this time, Keene and Plymouth are still requiring that your application be notarized if you live in New Hampshire.

- UNH will no longer accept SAT/ACT scores on the back of your transcript.   You must send them directly from the College Board.

- UNH also requests that only ONE letter of recommendation be sent from your counselor OR a subject teacher.  (You must indicate on your orange cover sheet which letter you want to be sent.   Your counselor will not decide for you.)

- The application fee is now $50 for in-state students and $65 for out-of-state students.

The College Redbook: We welcome parents to come and use the College Redbook.   We ask that you please call in advance to make an appointment as the College Planning Room is also scheduled for other events.

Notary Services:  Keene State and Plymouth State applicants:    If you reside in New Hampshire, your application must be notarized.   Mr. Pare (Guidance), Mrs. Grimaldi (next to Mr. Fussell's office), and Mrs. Mattock (Tuition office in the Shalom Wing) are notary public for the state of New Hampshire.   The law states that the parent must come in and sign the application in front of the notary.     If you are unable to come in, your local post office or bank may also have this service.  Any Keene or Plymouth application for a NH resident that has not been notarized will be returned to the student.

Summer Programs:  A list of summer programs is available on the Guidance website (Student Life - Guidance - Summer Programs).
