MRS. JOANNE PRINCIPE 

Mrs. JoAnne Principe received her M.Ed. in Counseling from Notre Dame College and her B.A. in Psychology from Assumption College.  She served as a teacher/counselor at St. Bernard’s High School for several years before moving to New Hampshire.  After brining up her family, she returned to work in schools as a paraprofessional in Special Education in Merrimack.  She interned at Manchester West High School in the Guidance Department and worked as a middle school counselor in New Ipswich before coming to Bishop Guertin High School in 1995.  Mrs. Principe is an avid reader and enjoys reading for both pleasure and for enrichment.  Coming from a strong background in child development, she occasionally writes articles for the Guertin Pride recommending books to parents about teen development and college admissions.
