Bishop Guertin High School and the Brothers of the Sacred Heart are committed to the formation of the whole person. Every aspect of student life at Bishop Guertin is focused on developing the spiritual, intellectual, creative, emotional, social, and physical dimensions of each student. Our faculty and staff work to create opportunities for the students to realize their greatest potential.
Bishop Guertin offers a full complement of clubs, activities, and athletics through which a student may explore his/her interests beyond the classroom. Our Campus Ministry Department offers several activities where students are encouraged to grow spiritually. BG has a number of academic honor societies that recognize students for outstanding achievement in the classroom. Through Student Activities, students may create clubs to share experiences with other students around a common interest. BG also offers students the opportunity to compete in interscholastic competitions with our FIRST Robotics Team, Mock Trial, Mock Congress, and our nationally recognized Debate Team. Our Athletic Department offers students the opportunity to compete against other high schools in a wide range of sports at the freshman, junior varsity, and varsity levels.
As a school community, Bishop Guertin values school spirit. The pride that students and staff share in their school is evidenced in our long list of clubs/activities and through well attended after school events. I encourage you browse the School Life section of the website to learn more about what BG has to offer.
