Bishop Guertin Earns First College Board AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award for Achieving High Female Representation in AP Computer Science Courses
Bishop Guertin High School has earned the first College Board AP® Computer Science Female Diversity Award for achieving high female representation in AP Computer Science A. Schools honored with the AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award have expanded girls’ access in AP Computer Science courses. Out of more than 18,000 secondary schools worldwide that offer AP courses, Bishop Guertin is one of only 685 to accomplish this and with only 167 schools earning the AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award for AP Computer Science A.
President Linda Brodeur Honored With Rivier University Alumni Achievement Award
Bishop Guertin President Linda Brodeur was recently awarded the Rivier University Alumni Outstanding Educator Award. Mrs. Brodeur earned both her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and her Master of Education from Rivier. In 2016, she was honored with the Educator of the Year Award, having distinguished herself as the first-ever female and lay president of BG.

ATHLETICS - Registration for fall sports is now open. All athletes must pre-register in order to participate in tryouts. Please see the athletics website, twitter, or signs around the school for the registration link. All current sophomores(rising juniors) that intend to participate in athletics next year must complete the ImPACT baseline test prior to tryouts. Those participating in contact sports must also take the C3Logix test. Again please see the athletics website for summer test registration information. There will be very limited opportunities to complete the testing after the summer testing sessions. FOUND at Green & Gold - A dark green women's jacket was left in the gym after Green & Gold. FOUND at Graduation - A Grad Card without a name!
PARKING 2019-2020 - To register, please come to Reception with your valid driver's license, completed registration form with signatures and $75 payment. Rising Seniors - Registration will commence on Monday, May 20th. Please read the informational email that was sent on Wednesday, May 15th. Please secure/guarantee your pass for next year ASAP! Rising Juniors - Registration will commence on Tuesday, May 28th. You will receive an informational email with details. Rising Seniors & Juniorswho will obtain a license over the summer/fall - Registration will be rolling throughout the summer/fall until the lot is full. Passes will be distributed on the first day of school in Advisory in the NO LINES, NO WAITING process.
LOST & FOUND ITEMS- Are you missing sunglasses, reading glasses, prescription glasses? Stop by the Optometry Shop in Reception. Also, small items and jewelry can also be claimed. FYI - there is a trash receptacle in the gym/fieldhouse filled with misplaced clothing items and shoes that were left in those areas. Please check if you are missing something. It also helps towrite your name on everything!
