BG Saddened by Passing of Fred Roedel Sr.

Bishop Guertin High School is saddened to learn of the passing of Fred Roedel Sr. One of the most benevolent figures in our school’s history, Mr. Roedel and his late wife, Kay, were extraordinarily kind and generous members of our community. His legacy will live on at Bishop Guertin for generations to come, as his gifts have opened doors for countless students to pursue and achieve their full potential. A proud father of two BG graduates and grandfather to three more, Mr. Roedel ensured that his family will forever be woven into the fabric of our school community. Our gratitude for all that he contributed to BG throughout his life cannot be fully expressed in words. He will be deeply missed, but his name and legacy will continue to live on along Lund Road for generations of Cardinals to honor and appreciate.
