Bishop Guertin is pleased to announce the naming of Winston Haughton as the new Varsity Girls Soccer Head Coach. Winston is the Coaching Director and Co-Founder of Elite UK Soccer Training, LLC, as well as the Regional Director for Aztec Soccer. He is a highly respected trainer and has decades of experience developing players individually and as a collective team. Throughout his career, Winston has developed and expanded regional soccer programs within several club settings. He has coached in a number of environments, including boys and girls competitive club soccer, women’s college, and men’s semi-professional teams. Along the way, his teams have won numerous State Cup titles.

Prior to moving to the United States, Winston enjoyed a very decorated youth soccer career in England. He was a standout Youth School Player with the English Premier team Aston Villa, and a semi-professional player in the English, Midlands Combinations League. Winston earned his degree with Honors in Business and Sports Studies, from the University of Wolverhampton.

Winston is looking forward to introducing his vision of soccer to the Bishop Guertin Girls Soccer program and to promoting the high standards and values associated with the school. "I am thrilled to be joining the BG family. I see my role as the Head Coach striving to bring the best out of the talented players at the school. I also see my role here as a facilitator of the game, more than merely a coach. I intend to develop the girls to the next level and a point where they are able to deliver to their best on all fronts. Having received such a wonderful welcome to the school, I am ready to get down to work."
