McGowan ’26 Reaches 1,000 Career Points

NASHUA, N.H. – Bishop Guertin senior Connor McGowan reached the 1,000-career point milestone on Jan. 28, helping lead the Cardinals to an 82–68 home victory over Salem.

 

McGowan’s historic basket came early in the contest, as the senior guard finished a fast break he initiated himself with a put-back in the paint.

Play was briefly stopped to recognize the achievement, as McGowan was honored alongside his parents and teammates. The senior continues to lead the state in scoring this season, averaging more than 26 points per game.

Bishop Guertin congratulates McGowan on becoming the program’s newest member of the 1,000-point club, marking an impressive milestone in his high school career.
