CURRENT OPENINGS

Computer Science Teacher

Due to strong enrollment, Bishop Guertin High School seeks a qualified, full-time Computer Science teacher for the 2021-2022 academic year. Desired candidates should possess the desire to work in a Catholic school and the subject matter background to support the school’s robust Computer Science curriculum which includes ninth-grade Explorations in Computer Science, a diverse number of technical and artistic electives courses (Python Programming, C# Programming Honors, CAD Fundamentals, Intro to Web Design, and Graphic Design), as well as AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A. Interested candidates should have solid programming proficiency (Python, C#, Java), as well as experience in website construction, CAD, and/or Adobe Photoshop.

Digital Design and Content Manager

As the Digital Design and Content Manager of Bishop Guertin High School, you will work to ensure that our digital and print presence captures the mission and life of the school. As a member of the BG Communications team, you will apply strong writing, creating and editing skills to help develop and sharpen content. You should be comfortable leading and contributing to special projects – in and out of the school day.

 

We are looking for someone who enjoys staying up to date on best practices for developing, presenting and promoting content – throughout all channels. In this position, collaboration is key as you will work across disciplines and departments helping others shape their content strategies utilizing multiple channels. We expect you will understand the potentially unique audience in each form of social media and create and deliver relevant and engaging content to all.

Math Teacher

Due to strong enrollment, Bishop Guertin High School seeks a qualified and experienced, full-time Mathematics Teacher to join its community for the 2021-2022 school year. The ideal candidate will have the desire to teach in a Catholic school, possess excellent subject-matter knowledge, and display a passion for engaging with young people. The successful candidate will possess the ability to teach courses across the curriculum from Algebra I through Calculus.

Theology Teacher

Due to strong enrollment, Bishop Guertin High School seeks a qualified, experienced, full-time Theology Teacher to join its community for the 2021-2022 school year. The successful candidate will have experience teaching high school students in the areas of Sacred Scripture and Catholicism.  A master’s degree in Theological studies is desired.  Most importantly, the successful candidate will display a passion for engaging young people and be willing to embrace the Charism of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart in support of the mission of the school.

Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach

Bishop Guertin High School has an immediate opening for a Varsity Girls Volleyball coach.  The coach will oversee all aspects of the volleyball program.  Desirable candidates will have the following skills:

 

  • Support the mission and values of Bishop Guertin with enthusiasm.
  • The knowledge to teach basic and advanced techniques.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with the school, parents and athletes.
  • The ability to uphold all policies of Bishop Guertin and the NHIAA.
  • The desire to work cooperatively with coaches, teachers and staff to serve the needs of all student-athletes.
  • The ability to develop the infrastructure of a solid program.
