Position Overview
Bishop Guertin High School seeks a dynamic and mission-driven Community Engagement & Communications Manager to join the Advancement Office. This individual will play a vital role in advancing Bishop Guertin’s mission through strategic marketing, community engagement, public relations, and event management.
Reporting directly to the Director of Advancement, this team member will lead community-facing initiatives, including signature events, donor communications, campaign messaging, and marketing content. This position will also support Bishop Guertin’s capital campaign, The Future is Now, by producing compelling communications and fostering engagement strategies that reflect the vision of the school’s future.
Responsibilities
Events & Community Engagement
- Lead planning and execution of Bishop Guertin’s signature Gala and Holly Day Fair. These events require coordination with internal teams, vendors, volunteers, and sponsors.
- Assist with or lead other Advancement events such as alumni receptions, stewardship gatherings, and community initiatives.
- Build and strengthen relationships with BG families, alumni, local businesses, and civic partners to grow engagement and support.
- Solicit sponsorships and in-kind donations from community partners in alignment with events.
Marketing, Communications & Public Relations
- Create and manage marketing materials for events, fundraising efforts, the Annual Fund, and the capital campaign. This includes print collateral, impact reports, social media content, e-newsletters, and invitations.
- Develop messaging that reflects BG’s mission and brand, working closely with the Director of Advancement and in collaboration with the Communication and Marketing Manager.
- Implement communications timelines and strategies for The Future is Now capital campaign and other Advancement initiatives.
- Oversee public relations and outreach efforts to raise Bishop Guertin’s visibility across Greater Nashua and beyond.
Capital Campaign Support
- Create campaign-specific communications, such as brochures, donor guides, signage, stewardship updates, and digital materials.
- Ensure all messaging is inspiring, cohesive, and aligned with the goals and tone of the capital campaign.
- Support campaign-related events including donor receptions, campus tours, and campaign milestones.
- Experience with campaign planning, case development, and donor engagement strategies is a plus.
Fundraising & Sponsorship
- Partner with the Director of Advancement to cultivate and steward donors, sponsors, and community partners.
- Contribute to donor communications, annual fund appeals, and recognition materials.
- Use events and storytelling to increase participation in the Annual Fund, scholarship programs, and campaign giving.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing, advancement, event planning, or development.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with digital marketing tools such as Constant Contact, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms, and CMS.
- Experience with capital campaigns is highly desirable.
- Passion for Catholic education and commitment to Bishop Guertin’s mission.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as required for events.

TWO Cafeteria Cashiers | Part Time
Job Details:
Position: Cashier
Location: Nashua, NH
Schedule: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. AND 8 a.m. to 1 a.m.
Hours: Part-Time/25 per week
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Job Summary:
The Cashier is responsible for assisting with front of the house operations within our corporate café. Duties include serving and assisting customers during the check-out process, as well as some light food prep and stocking coolers while maintaining clean and orderly servery/dining areas.
This is a front of the house position; exceptional customer service skills are a must!
Essential Functions and Key Tasks:

Responsible for running the point of sale system, assisting customers during the check-out process, managing cash, credit or house account payments

Provide excellent customer service to include being attentive, approachable, greeting and thanking customers entering and exiting the café

Make sure the customers are being taken care of and the department looks clean and presentable at all times

Set up and restock product, displays, coolers and workstations as needed

Light food prep including baking cookies and grab and go items

At end of shift, the Café Cashier will help clean and restock the café including but not limited to wiping down the tables, cleaning around the coffee bar, mopping, etc.
