Catholic Ethics and Philosophy
This course is an introduction to the rich traditions of Catholic Moral Teaching. Students will examine and develop an understanding of the major philosophical and theological treatments of moral questions on the relationship between God and man and human nature. Topics will include the Catholic understanding of Natural Law Tradition, The Family, Moral Virtues, Human Freedom, Virtue and Vice, Addiction, and Personal, Social and Business ethics. Central to the discussion are Catholic values that help guide moral judgement and decision-making.
