Students Write 1,347 Cards to Overseas Service Members

In what has become an annual tradition at Bishop Guertin, students have penned cards and notes to service members stationed overseas. Partnering with the NH Holiday Card Challenge, this yearly event is sponsored by the Spanish National Honor Society. Students, faculty, and staff take time to send well wishes from home to those who will not be able to be with family over the holidays. 

Started in 2017 by Dr. Laura Landerman-Garber the “Holiday Cards 4 Our Military - NH Challenge“ has sent nearly a quarter of a million cards to deployed soldiers. Submissions have come from almost every state and Canada and in every presidential candidate. Dr. Landerman-Garber believes that our Warriors need our caring connections more then ever.
